A little about me

I began studying Graphic Design officially as an A Level in 2016, however during my GCSEs I was effectively learning the basics during an applied art course. Having finished my A Levels I took a year away from formal education to work as a lifeguard and decided on my future career path. I applied and was accepted onto the BA (Hons) Graphic Design course at the Arts University Bournemouth. Throughout my university experience I was able to learn and experiment with a variety of different project briefs and techniques, which has help me hone my skillset to match the areas of design I enjoy working within.

After graduating, I began working on a part time freelance basis with London based science and healthcare communications agency Sciad starting in July 2021. In April 2022, they offered me a fulltime position, and I gladly accepted. Since then I have contributed to and been the lead designer across countless projects including social media design, web design, html coding, email signatures, graphic design, branding and much more. I have experienced how collaboration across a team of people with different skillsets works, and have been trusted to be the design lead and manage liaising with internal and external resources on a number of projects.

I recently began freelancing again and have really enjoyed working on brief and industry areas that are outside of life science and healthcare, ad would love to continue working in these areas in the future.
